That Photo of the Boy in a Cage Everyone Is Talking About? We Now Know What It’s Really From

Liberals are doing it again. You may recall how they all flipped out a couple of weeks ago when they were spreading a picture of children locked in cages, claiming it was a picture of illegal alien kids locked up by the Trump administration.

Many spread the picture including Democratic gubernatorial candidate Antonio Villaraigosa.

They were livid, many tweeting, “Is this what we have become?” And tweeting invective against Trump.

Except, of course, the picture was from 2014 under the Obama administration.

Then many pulled down the picture quickly and the story died, because if Obama does it, it’s all cool.

Now they’re at it again. They’ve found another picture to try to sell the claim.

From Daily Wire:

An image shared by the likes of actor Ron Perlman and illegal immigrant reporter Jose Antonio Vargas purports to show a young boy in tears clinging to the sides of a cage.

“This is what happens when a government believes people are ‘illegal.’ Kids in cages,” wrote Vargas.

“Trump, Sessions, McConnell, Ryan, this is on YOU!” wrote the outraged Perlman.

Here are the so-far undeleted tweets (h/t Twitchy):

After he put it up, the ‘journalist’ admitted he didn’t know the source of where it came from, but that didn’t stop him from spreading it.

In fact, one of his followers actually asked him for the source because she wasn’t going to spread it without knowing because “conservatives will say it’s fake if I don’t quote a source.” Indeed, because it generally is. But it’s hilarious that his follower acts more like a journalist than in fact he does.

Twitchy called Vargas out for his lie.

The picture was actually a staged protest by pro-illegal alien activists in Texas.

Hi, Jose! Fellow journalist here. This photo was taken by Leroy Pena as part of a protest with the Brown Berets on June 10th, presumably in Texas.

You can see more photos of the kids in cages as part of the staged protest here:

Despite being informed it was a fake, both Vargas and Perlman have kept their tweets up and still have people believing it’s real.

You would think they want kids to be in cages, they’re so desperate to spread the lies and to try to make it true.

But it just shows how deceitful they are.
