Dick’s CEO Finds Brutal Surprise Waiting For Him at Shareholder Meeting

Dick’s Sporting Goods has made it clear over the past year or so that they are more interested in caving to the hysterical gun control crowd than defending the 2nd Amendment.

Simply put, Dick’s Sporting Goods is a cowardly organization.

Following the Parkland shooting, Dick’s decided to start cutting back on the guns they sold and change the age requirement needed to buy guns.

That made a lot of customers angry. But, apparently it also made the shareholders at Dick’s a little upset.

Check out what just went down in a recent meeting…

From Western Journal:

Since the company reacted to the February massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School by betraying its customers who support the Second Amendment, Dick’s has been hit by the gun industry, from street-level stores to corporate decision-makers.

But at a shareholders meeting on Wednesday, Dick’s heard from people with skin in the game.

In a direct attack on Dick’s CEO Edward Stack and other members of the company’s board, shareholder David Almasi, vice president of the National Center for Public Policy Research, raked the company’s leadership over the coals.

To the company’s top officers, Almasi charged, “virtue signaling” was more important than the company’s sales.

Clearly, it’s not a good time to be an executive at Dick’s.

There’s no doubt Dick’s took a hit.

From Fox News:

Several major gun manufacturers said they were severing ties with Dick’s Sporting Goods in response to the company’s February announcement it would no longer sell assault-style weapons due to the deadly Parkland school shooting.

O.F. Mossberg & Sons Inc., the parent company of Mossberg guns, announced Wednesday they would no longer be doing business with the sports retailer. Mossberg & Sons ended its association with Dick’s after Dick’s hired three Washington, D.C., lobbyists to push for gun control efforts, the National Review reported.

“It has come to our attention that Dick’s Sporting Goods recently hired lobbyists on Capitol Hill to promote additional gun control,” Mossberg & Sons CEO Iver Mossberg wrote in a press release. “Make no mistake, Mossberg is a staunch supporter of the U.S. Constitution and our Second Amendment rights, and we fully disagree with Dick’s Sporting Goods’ recent anti-Second Amendment actions.”

  2. Hello there friend! There are some interesting points in time in this article but I don?t know if I see all of them center to heart. There is some validity but I will take hold opinion until I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner as well Again thanks alot for this!

  3. Its like you read my mind! You seemm to know so much about this,
like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics
to drive thhe message home a bit, but instsad off that, this is excellent blog.
A great read. I’ll definitely be back.

  4. Thanks for revealing your ideas right here. The other thing is that if a problem develops with a laptop motherboard, individuals should not take the risk connected with repairing it themselves because if it is not done correctly it can lead to permanent damage to the full laptop. It’s usually safe to approach your dealer of a laptop for the repair of motherboard. They’ve already technicians with an skills in dealing with mobile computer motherboard complications and can have the right prognosis and perform repairs.

  5. Thanks for the tips you have shared here. Something important I would like to mention is that personal computer memory demands generally go up along with other advancements in the technology. For instance, any time new generations of cpus are brought to the market, there is certainly usually an equivalent increase in the size preferences of both the pc memory in addition to hard drive space. This is because the application operated simply by these cpus will inevitably boost in power to make use of the new technological know-how.

  6. Good blog post. Some tips i would like to bring about is that laptop or computer memory should be purchased if the computer can no longer cope with that which you do along with it. One can set up two good old ram boards having 1GB each, in particular, but not one of 1GB and one of 2GB. One should always check the maker’s documentation for the PC to make sure what type of storage is needed.

  7. Thanks for your write-up. I also believe laptop computers have become more and more popular these days, and now in many cases are the only sort of computer employed in a household. This is due to the fact that at the same time actually becoming more and more affordable, their working power keeps growing to the point where they’re as effective as desktop computers through just a few years back.

  8. One thing I want to say is that before getting more personal computer memory, consider the machine into which it is installed. In case the machine is running Windows XP, for instance, a memory threshold is 3.25GB. The installation of in excess of this would easily constitute just a waste. Make sure one’s mother board can handle the actual upgrade amount, as well. Interesting blog post.

  9. Thanks , I’ve recently been looking for info about this subjext for a whhile and yours
is the greatest I have came upon till now. But, wat about the bottom line?

Are you positive about thee source?
